Chatsworth, located in the Township of Chatsworth, is a historical crossroads where two of Ontario's major routes, highways 6 & 10 merge, as they continue together into Owen Sound. The Toronto-Sydenham road was an early colonization road that we built to offer a more direct route between Owen Sound and Toronto and most of this road is still in use as Highway 10. After trains stopped using the CP rail line into Own Sound the track was removed and turned into a bike trail from East Bayshore Road in Owen Sound and runs through Chatwsorth. If you take time to enjoy the trail system you will want to take time to stop at the Chatsworth Railway Arch (Culvert 21). In 2013 the stone arch was rehabilitated and turned into a unique attraction in the village.
