Berford Lake is one of the many hidden gems of the Bruce Peninsula. The lake is located about 7 kilometers north of Wiarton and is over 1000 acres in size. While there are some homes and cottages around the lake a lot of the shoreline has remained in its natural state. At the north side of the lake you will find Berford Lake Park. The park has a sandy beach as well as a playground and pavilion.
